TDN World Desk: The day Kamal nath government in Madhya Pradesh stepped down a case of forgery that was pending against former union minister Jyotiraditya Scindia and his family members has been closed, an official said on Tuesday.
The former haevy weight Congress leader who have recently joined BJp after meeting with home Ministerr Amit Shah nad Prime Minister Narendara Modi was accused of falsifying a property document while sewlling land in Gwalior in 2009. On March 12 when Congress Government eas in power in the state Economic Offences Wing decided to initiate investigation over the complain.
“The complainant, Surendra Shrivastava, approached us for the second time on March 12 seeking a re-look into his complaint against Scindias. We forwarded the complaint to our Gwalior office which, after a re-investigation, closed it,” a top EOW official was quoted by The Telegraph as saying.
On Monday BJP has formed the government in the state toppling 15 months old Kamal Nath-led Congress government. Jyotiaditya Scindia has congratulated the new chief minister of the state Shivraj Singh Chouhan. In reply, Shivraj Singh Chouhan also thanked him and asssured of working together for the progress and development of Madhya Pradesh.
