TDN World Desk: Railways has restored train services between Baramulla to Banihal (138 Km) in Kashmir Valley.
During the winter season, snowfall often halts the movement of vehicles in Kashmir Valley.
according to the Railway department, Sixteen services are presently resumed in the Valley. the duration of train services have been increased from five hours to nine hours — 8 am to 5 pm.
Train services in the Valley were suspended on August 3, ahead of the Central Govt. decision to scrape special status to Jammu and Kashmir given under Article 370 of the Constitution and divide it into two Union territories.
