TDN World Desk: Amid coronavirus scare the protests in Shaheen Bagh adapted several changes. Number of protesters have been reduced significantly considering the lock down.

Speaking to ANI, Maryam, one protester said,” We respect and obey the decision taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It has been urged that a minimum number of people should gather at one place so people are coming here in shifts, in group of five We are ready to combat with coronavirus. we are following what has been told like wearing gloves, masks, using sanitizers.”

On Sunday morning two unidentified bikeborne persons threw petrol bombs near the Shaheen Bagh protest site. Speaking over it she told ANI, ” We don’t know who they were. The government should have conducted an enquiry into this matter. They should care about these things. We are following the government’s orders but they should also think about us and abolish this black law (CAA).”

Today Supreme court will hear a petition seeking removal of the protest. however, the protesters here are hopeful that the court will pass judgement in their interest.
