TDN World Desk: In a first time ever Thackerey family is going to have a chief Minister as Uddhav Thackeray set to be Maharashtra.

Uddhav will also be leading the Shiv Sena-Nationalist Congress Party-Congress alliance government, called Maha Vikas Aghadi, in Maharashtra.

This is also the first in the history of Shiv Sena, a regional party founded in 1966 by Uddhav’s father Balasaheb Thackeray, to join hands with the Congress and the NCP.

In the assembly elections, the BJP won 105 seats and Shiv Sena 56, while the Congress-NCP combine won 98 seats in the 288-member assembly.
