Own Correspondent, TDN World, Kolkata: During this Friday’s sermon in the mosques speech will be given against Citizenship Amendment Bill and the Muslims will demonstrate outside the mosques with black flags. Muhammad Quamruzzaman, the President of Sankhalaghu Yuba Federation (Minority Youth Federation) has issued such an directive to several Immams in West Bengal.

Speaking to our reporter, Md Quamruzzaman said, ” On Friday the sermons of the prayer will include speech against the divisive CAB. People will also demonstrate outside the mosques with black flags.”

“We are in contact with various organisations. An inch will not be left so easily. In a week, a larger movement will be waged. After that a massive gathering – enough to beseige the city – will be held in Kolkata. This Citizenship Amendment bill is against the secular ethos of our constitution. Through legislation of this bill Modi government has contrived a conspiracy to strip its people of citizenship,” said Maulana Quamruzzaman

According to sources, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind West Bengal chapter will aslo organize protest rally and gatherings against CAB on this Friday. A rally will be taken out from infront of the Tipu Sultan mosque to Gandhi Murti, Kolkata. Thereafter a gathering will be held.
