TDN World Desk:An army officer and two soldiers died in a violent face-off between Indian and Chinese soldiers at Galwan Valley, one of the four standoff points in the eastern Ladakh sector on Monday night.

Indian Army said that both side has encountered casualities. “During the de-escalation process underway in the Galwan Valley, a violent face-off took place yesterday night (Monday night) with casualties on both sides,” Army said in an official statement.

Reacting over the death of the three Indian Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury said,”Our Army Jawans including Colonel have been fallen victims to unscrupulous Chinese aggression.Prime Minister” we need befitting retaliation, retaliation, retaliation!

“I pay my homage to the brave souls who have laid down their precious lives for the sake of Our Motherland,”added he.

As of recent update, both countries have engaged in dialogue to resolve the issue.
