TDN World Desk: World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) took punitive measures against Russia for manipulating laboratory data. As decided by WADA, Russia would not be able to compete in Olympics and world championship for four years.

However, Russian atheletes with clean career would be able to take part in the international games provided they compete without the country’s national anthem and national flag.

WADA’s executive committee come to the restrictive measures against the country after they found substantial evidence that Moscow violated international law by tampering evidence and files that could have helped identify drug dupes.
