TDN World Desk: On the very day when India is awaiting for the verdict of Ayodhya issue, Pakistan PM Imran Khan decides to open Kartarpur corridor. This decision is very significant for the Sikh community across the world, and especially for the Indians.
Pakistan dubbed the corridor as peace corridor. After 70 years, Indian Sikhs will be able to visit their one of the holiest shrine, Guru Nanak Dev Ji shrine, crossing the international border with Pakistan and that is also without visa.A five Kilometre road is built between India, Pakistan. This cross border pilgrimage route would be visa free.
At the eve of the opening of Kartarpur corridor, PM Imran Khan said in his message that the inauguration of Kartarpur corridor is the testimony of Pakistan’s commitment to regional peace.
” We believe that the road to prosperity of the region and bright future of our coming generation lies in peace,” said Imran.
