TDN World Desk: A senior Congress leader V Hanumantha Rao on Monday lodged a complaint against RSS chief, Mohan Bhagwat for his remark that 130 crore Indians are “Hindus.”

Mohan Bhagwan had attended a public meeting on Dec.25 organized by RSS unit in Telangan where he said that the Sangh regards the 130 crore people of India as Hindu society, irrespective of their religion and culture.

Objecting to Bhagwat’s remark the former Rajya Sabha MP said, The statement of Bhagwat not only hurts the sentiments and beliefs of Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Parsis etc, but is also against the spirit and tenor of the constitution of India.”
