TDN World Desk: The authority claimed that the ITBP constable who allegedly shot dead five of his colleagues in Chattisgarh on Wednesday, had commited suicide. But, rejecting this narrative, the family members of the 28-year-old Masadur Rahman said that he was murdered.

demanding investigation, Mizanur Rahaman, the brother of Indo-Tibetan Border Police constable asked reportrs, “He was shot from behind. We have checked his body. Can anyone fire himself at the back while committing suicide?”

“One of the officers told me my brother did not have any bad record. We want a proper probe and eager to know (how he died),” added he.

Reportedly, Rahman had opened fire from his service weapon, killing five fellow constables and injuring two others during an unknown strife between them while they were stsaying in a camp of the ITBP’s 45th battalion at a village in Narayanpur district of Chhattisgarh.
