TDN World Desk: People across India including Bengal organized peaceful protests against Citizenship law where the participants carried national flag chanted slogans of love, unity.
But in a contrary way, Nagpur witnessed a shameful rally where people under the banner of Lok Adhikar Manch held a rally in support of Citizenship law but they were heard chanting inflammatory slogans such as “Desh ke gaddaron ko, goli maaro saalon ko.”

On Sunday, hundreds of people took part in the rally taken out by BJP, RSS and Lok Adhikar Manch at Nagpur. The rally covered few kilometres distance between Yashwant Stadium to Samvidhan Chowk.

This rally is a part of BJP’s nationwide campaign to mobilize people’s opinion in favour of the amended Citizenship Act that allows the six non-Muslim communities to get Indian citizenship if they had no ligal documents. But under this new law Muslims are not be granted citizenship if excluded from NRC.
