TDN World Desk: AAP Rajya Sabha MP and National Spokesperson Sanjay Singh reveals a railway officer’s letter that stated that “train will run”.

Posting the letter on his social media account -Twitter and facebook – the AAP leader said, “Railway office issued an order on 13 April in which he said “train will run” then how did the workers become guilty?”

“Did these officers themselves issue this order or was it a government order? During thecorona crisis who is creating the mass-gathering crisis?”, the FB post reads.

He also shared a coppy of the letter carrying signature of Dy.Chief Commercial Manager (PM) A. Malleswara Rao. The letter stated,”During Video conference (refers to PM Modi’s video conference with various states’ chiefministers) held on 13.04.2020, it is decided to run Janasadharan Specials for clearing stranded passengers/migrant labour of unreserved segment.”

In a separate tweet the AAP national spokesperson said,” If it was almost decided on 12 April, in the Prime Minister’s meeting with Chief Ministers that “Lock Down” wil be extended, then why the railway officer was making the proposal to run train? Who did spread the misinformation?”

On Tuesday afternoon nearly 1,000 migrant workers gathered near the Bandra train station and demaded to feed them or make travel arrangements for their return to home.
