TDN World Desk: All India Muslim personal Law Board and Jamiat-e-Ulema Hind on behalf of the Muslims have filed review plea challenging the last month’s verdict by apex court that allowed construction of Ram Mandir at the site of Babri Masjid and granted 5 acres land to the Muslims party to build mosque in an alternative place. Earlier today, key Hindu litigant Nirmohi Akhara also filed a review petition in the apex court. Tomorrow at 1.40 pm a five-judge Constitution bench will hear the petitions.
Justice Sanjiv Khanna replaces the former Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi in the five-judge Constitution bench. Justice Khanna will decide whether the hearing should be conducted in an open court or in-chamber.
