TDN World Desk: As BJP government lost power in Jharkhand, and Hemant Soren government has come into power, the course of Tabrez Ansari’s lynching case is changing its direction. According to the latest update, the non-BJP government in Jharkhand ordered to take action against the two doctors for negligence in discharging their duties.
As per report, Health Minister Banna Gupta has instructed to initiate action into the case. Dr. Om Prakash Keshari and Dr. Shahid Anwar are the the two accused doctors.
“The probe has ended and it was found that some lapses were committed by the two doctors. Accordingly, orders have been passed to initiate departmental proceeding against them,” said Principal Health Secretary Nitin Madan Kulkarni, The New Indian express quotes.
Reportedly, Shaista Parveen, wife of Tabrez Ansari, met Chief Minister Hemant Soren and demanded a CBI probe into the case.
It is to be noted that under the previous Raghubar Das-led Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government at least 22 mob lynching cases happened in the state.
Brinda karat, a heavyweight CPI(M) leader earlier branded the state as ‘Lynchistan’. Her remark was in response to the repeated mob-violence in the state during the BJP rule.
However, after the BJP government was divested of power in the state cases of mob lynching has also come down. Under the prsent JMM-RJD and Congress led ruling coaliation government only two such cases have been reported.
