Welfare Party has won a number of seats in West Bengal Panchayat Poll


Own Correspondent, TDN World, Kolkata: Though In West Bengal Panchayat Polls welfare Party of India could manage to file nominations for few of its candidates, they has won in quite a number of seats. Rukhsona Bibi , a welfare Party candidate attained huge success In North Tamluk’s Sonai Booth. She won by a huge margin.
On other side, this value-based political party has won by 161 votes at Netaji Panchayat in Kakdweep block .Here Samshun Nahar Laskar was the representative candidate for welfare Party . Kamal Uddin Mandal , a candidate of Magrahat’s Ghola , located in the same south 24 parganas district, also emerged to be victorious.
While speaking about this victory Sarwar Hasan, the state secretary of welfare Party opined to tdn world ,” this is a victory of ethics and values. We are dreaming to form a country free from all kind of corruptions, bribery and liquor addiction. Despite the threats from the ruling party people gave their political priority to values and ethics. In coming years , as an way out, Bengal will be seeking for alternative political avenues .
