TDN World Desk:The devastating bushfires in Australia has brought the state to its knees. In months bushfires blaze killed so far 23 people and destroyed over 1,500 homes. Due to the raging bushfires temperature reached 44 degrees Celsius (111 degrees Fahrenheit) on Saturday. To tackle the catastrophic bushfires the Australian government has called additional troops. Australian Prime Minister announced about this recent development of deploying 3,000 troops to tackle the unbridled bush-fires.
According to a CNN report, the busfires have burnt 264,000 hectares (1,020 square miles) of land in the in the Wollondilly region south of the capital Sydney and a 6,000-hectare (23 square mile) land in the Omeo region in Victoria state.
As per a New York Time’s report close to half a billion native animals have been killed and many native species of plants wiped out entirely due to this horrible bushfires.
On Satudray, 10,000 people have been ordered to evacuate their homes and shif to safer places.
