TDN World Desk: Politicians never cease to amuse people. BJP leaders like former Prime MInister Lalkrishna Advani, Uma Bharati and many others rose to prominence by leading a successful political battle to build Ram Mandir at the very site of Babri Masjid, claiming it as the birthplace of lord Ram. Now KP Oli, Prime Minister of Hindu Majoritarian Nepal claims that India has a ‘fake Ayodhya’. The real Ayodhya lies in Nepal.

The bombastic claim made by Nepali PM KP Oli came amid exacerbating bilateral relationship between India and Nepal on border row.

Speaking in a program arranged at his residence on the occasion of Bhanu Jayanti the Nepli PM made such bewildering claim.

“Although the real Ayodhya lies at Thori in the west of Birgunj, India have claimed the Indian site as the birthplace of Lord Ram,” PM Oli was quoted by Khabarhub, a news portal based in Nepal.

Rejecting Nepal’s claim, BJP national spokesperson Bizay Sonkar Shastri said,” Lord Ram is a matter of faith for us, and people will not allow anybody, be it prime minister of Nepal or anyone, to pay with this.”
