As thousands of Twitter users, irrespective of cast, creed, religion, hailing from all across the globe took to twitter to voice over the discriminatory Citizenship act passed by the Modi government, #WorldAgainstCAA_NRC_NPR become one of the top trending issue on Twitter platform.

Since the passage of CAA in the Rajya Sabha the country has been witnessing non-stop anti-CAA protests in the form of rally, debate, discussion, dialogue, paly, poetry and songs across the country.

People from almost every walk of life have spoken over this discriminatory law that aims to marginalizing the minority religious community by excluding them from the CAA law.

Today’s twitter trends goes beyond the geographical border of India and includes muslim majority countries such as Qatar, Kuwait.

As of Wednesday evening, the anti-CAA protest got drew response from over 52.5 thousands people on Twitter.

With Indian government adamant to implement the CAA,NRC, foreign countries like Malaysia, America, Bangladesh have voiced concern.United Nation and various rights group from the international fraternity also raised concern over the implementation of CAA by the Modi-Shah government. The move may also jeopardize India’s economic future. After the Time magazine, The Economist also charged Modi of dividing the country and damaging its economy.
In a fresh move, European Parliament is going to debate and discuss over the “discriminatory and dangerously divisive” Citizenship Amendment Act.
